Teeth grinding
Teeth grinding is the value added of our parts!
CORDM’s strategy is to produce high-precision gears for high-speed applications (+20,000 rpm).
To achieve this, teeth grinding is essential in order to obtain micrometric precision!
Our teams’ expertise enables us to grind gears up to 1600mm in diameter and up to ISO 1328 quality 4.
We have large-scale CNC grinding machines using form grinding wheels.
To enable us to produce high-precision gear teeth, we also carry out cylindrical and surface grinding on our parts.
We can perform cylindrical grinding:
- Horizontal for gears up to 1.5 tonnes – Ø600mm x 2500mm.
- Vertical for gears up to 2 tonnes – Ø1600mm x 600mm.
We also carry out surface grinding for parts with a volume not exceeding: Length 1500mm x Width 500mm x Height 400mm.
